iRide Equestrian Apparel is changing for the greater good.

"Sustainable fashion is a movement and process of fostering change to fashion products and the fashion system towards greater ecological integrity and social justice. Sustainable fashion concerns more than just addressing fashion textiles or products."

What's changing exactly?

In 2022 iRide is making a conscious decision to improve our processes to reflect a more sustainable and socially conscious approach to our business. With a growing demand for seasonal fashion, the fast fashion industry is booming and at a drastic cost to our environment. It is our promise to eliminate our carbon footprint by shipping our parcels in compostable satchels, by using recycled and biodegradable elements in our marketing materials, paperless invoices and gift cards. Fashion Manufacturers and Apparel Workers are amongst the lowest paid employees in the world. The majority of the clothing industry has unregulated standards, which can lead to unsafe working environments, long job hours, below award wages, and discrimination for the workers who are predominantly women. The longer we continue to support “Fast Fashion”, and unethical sourcing exacerbates these problems every day. Our goal is to produce our collections sustainably in Australia, under fair work practices while supporting our economy, providing jobs for Australians and spreading awareness of the importance around “Slow Fashion” and ethical production.
